For The Love Of Pink

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Brolly Fight Bold
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
RR_MaskSet65_Mask3 & RD_MaskSet162_Mask4 by Rachel
Color Pop 4 kit by Karmalized Scraps

I used the awesome artwork of PinUp Toons
You can purchase his work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Rion’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill with grey #AAAAAA
Open Spray (1)
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Spray
Image, Flip and duplicate to make it stand out a little more

Select your preset shape tool with these settings:
Shape: Ellipse / Anti-Alias & Create as Vector: Checked / Line style: Solid / Width: 5.00
Set your foreground to white, background set to null
Draw a circle inside the Spray

Convert to raster and rename Frame
Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise
Gaussian & Monochrome: Checked / Noise: 40%
Move the Frame below both Spray layers

Copy and paste a paper of choice – I used Paper (9)
Rename Frame Fill
Move the paper below the Frame layer
Open Element (1) and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame Flower
Position so the middle of the flower is in the middle of your Frame
Lower the opacity to 51

Activate your Frame
Select your Magic Wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Select inside the Frame
Selections, Modify, Expand by 3 pixels
Selections, Invert and press delete on the Frame Fill layer
Activate the Frame Flower and press delete
Selections, None

Activate the Frame layer
Open Element (17) and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Love
Position along the top of the Frame
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 1 / H: 3 / Opacity: 55 / Blur: 11.88 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open Element (8) and resize to 35%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Crown
Position at the top of Love
Move below the Love layer, so the crown is coming from behind
Add the same drop shadow

Open Element (22) and resize to 35%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower
Position along the bottom right side of the Frame
Add the same drop shadow

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I resized to 65%, all layer unchecked
I also mirrored my tube as she was facing the wrong way for my tag
Position where it looks best and add the same drop shadow
Select your Selection Tool with these settings:
Selection type: Rectangle / Mode: Add (Shift) / Feather: 0 / Anti-Alias: Checked
Select the part of your tube that is covering the Flower

Selections, Promote Selection to Layer
On the original, press delete
Selections, None
Activate the Promoted Selection, move below the Flower layer

Activate the grey background layer
Open Element (24) and resize to 85%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Back Flower
Position where it looks best behind everything else
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 10

Activate the grey background again
Open a paper of choice – I used Paper (2)
Resize to 600 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask 1
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for RD_MaskSet162_Mask4 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Resize to 75%, all layers unchecked
Move above the Back Flower layer

Open another paper – I used Paper (8)
Resize to 600 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask 2
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for RR_MaskSet65_Mask3 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Resize to 75%, all layers unchecked
Position over Mask 1 and reduce the opacity to 61

Activate the top layer
Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Brolly Fight Bold
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 1 / Opacity: 55 / Blur: 5.94 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Delete the grey background layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done
