Summer Fun

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Brush Tip Terrance
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Filters Unlimited – Paper Textures
Eye Candy 5: Impact – Gradient Glow
Mask451 & 459 by Vix
IB SheenaPike 34-1 kit by Kizzed By Kelz

I used the awesome artwork of Cuddly Rigor Mortis
You can purchase his work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Kristin’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill with white
Open a paper of choice – I used Paper (3)
Resize to 600 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for Vix_Mask451 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group

Open Element (24) and resize to 75%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Pond
Position so the left end of the Pond is a little above the grass of the mask
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 3 / Opacity: 48 / Blur: 6.93 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open Element (22) and resize to 75%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Rocks 1
Position at the left end of the Pond
Add the same drop shadow

Open Element (25)
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Sand
Move below the Pond layer
Position behind the pond

Open Element (10) and resize to 45%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flowers
Position on the right top edge of the Pond
Add the same drop shadow
Activate Sand and erase any that is to the right of the Flowers

Activate Rocks 1
Open Element (9) and resize to 75%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Lily Pads
Position along the bottom of the Pond
Add the same drop shadow

Open Element (26)
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Bubbles
Position the bottom bubbles just above the Lily Pads
Add the same drop shadow

Open Element (18) and resize to 60%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Rocks 2
Position so the 2 far left rocks are next to Rocks 1

Select and erase the other rocks

Add the same drop shadow

Activate the Mask layer
Open Element (17) and resize to 75%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Cloud
Position towards the top of the mask where it looks best

Open Wordart and resize to 45%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Wordart
Position towards the top of the mask area where it looks best

Select your Change to Target brush with these settings:
Shape: Square / Size: 345 / Hardness, Density, Thickness and Opacity: 100 / Step: 10 / Roatation: 0 / Mode: Color
Set your foreground to #57B5BE
Recolor the Wordart
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Reduce the opacity to 70

Activate Flowers
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I resized to 40%
Position where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow

Open Element (16) and resize to 45%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Bullrushes
Position where it looks best and apply the same drop shadow

Open Element (3) and resize to 25%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Lily
Position where it looks best and apply the same drop shadow

Delete the white background layer
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible to a New Layer
On the Merged layer – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 10
Change the blend mode to Overlay and reduce the opacity to 57
Duplicate the Merged layer
Change the blend mode to Soft Light and reduce the opacity to 50
Effects, Plugins, <I.C.Net Software>, Filters Unlimited – Paper Textures

Activate the Mask layer
Open another paper of choice – I used Paper (5)
Resize to 600 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask 2
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for Vix_Mask459 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Resize to 75%, all layers unchecked
Duplicate and on the copy, change the blend mode to Multiply

Activate your top Merged layer
Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Brush Tip Terrence
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, Convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 5: Impact – Gradient Glow

Add the same drop shadow BUT change the color to a darker shade of your text color

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as jpg/png
All Done
