Sailor Hottie

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Sailor Brothers Script
Karmalized_Mask036 and Karmalized_Mask040 by Karma
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
IB_TedHammond_38-3 by Foxys Designz

I used the awesome artwork of Ted Hammond
You can purchase his work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Ted’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 550 x 550 and flood fill with grey #C0C0C0
Open Frame1 and resize to 350 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame
Position towards the bottom right of your canvas
Open Element11 and resize to 300 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – Grass
Position on the bottom left of your Frame
Duplicate and on the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 3

Open Element9 and resize to 400 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Umbrella
Move below both Grass layers and position the pole behind the Grass
Using your Selection tool, with these settings:
Selection type: Rectangle / Mode: Add (Shift) / Feather: 0 / Anti-Alias: Checked
Select the top part of the Umbrella

Selections, Promote Selection to layer
On the original, press delete
Selections, None
On the promoted selection – Image, Free Rotate, 13 degrees to the left
Line it back up with the original layer
Ensure you are on the promoted selection – Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Rename Umbrella again
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 4 / H: -6 / Opacity: 28 / Blur: 7.92 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open Element2 and resize to 400 pixel wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Cloud 1
Position where it looks best at the top of your frame, below the Umbrella layer
Duplicate and Image, Mirror – reposition if needed
Rename Cloud 2
Copy and paste again and position where it looks best
Rename Cloud 3
Hide all layers, except your cloud layer
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible – rename Clouds
Layers, View, View All

Open Element3 and resize to 150 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Life Saver
Position on the right side of your frame
Add the same drop shadow as used on the Umbrella

Activate the grey background layer
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I left mine at 100%
Position within the Frame
Add the same drop shadow
Select the top part of your tube that is hidden by the frame

Selections, Promote Selection to layer
On the original layer, press delete
Selections, None
Erase any of the original tube layer that you can see outside the frame
On the promoted selection – Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top
Activate the Frame and add the same drop shadow

Activate the Umbrella layer
Open Element16 and resize to 150 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flowers
Position behind the grass
Add the same drop shadow

Activate the Grey layer again
Open a paper of choice – I used Paper2
Resize to 550 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for Karmalized_Mask036 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group – rename Mask 1
Resize by 90%, all layers unchecked
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 3

Open another paper of choice – I used Paper4
Resize to 550 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for Karmalized_Mask040 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group – rename Mask 2
Resize by 85%, all layers unchecked
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 2
Change the blend mode to Overlay

Activate the grey background layer
Apply the same mask with the same settings
Resize to 85%, all layers unchecked

Activate the top layer
Open WordArt1 and resize to 400 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Wordart
Position where it looks best
Reduce the opacity to about 69
Add the same drop shadow

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Sailor Brothers Script
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Paste as a new layer – rename Blur
Increase canvas size to 550 x 550
On the Blur layer – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 16
Change the blend mode to Overlay and reduce the opacity to about 75
Move your copyright layer to the top (Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top)
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 😀
