How Does Your Garden Grow?

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Hippie Unicorn
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Xero – Porcelain
WSL_Mask4 by Chelle

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 650 x 650 and flood fill with white
Open ele21
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flower BG
Duplicate and activate the original
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 12
On the Copy of Flower BG
Selections, All, Float, Defloat
Selections, Modify, Feather by 15 pixels
Selections, Invert
Now press delete a couple of times to soften the edges
Selections, None

Open ele14 and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Fence
Leave in the middle of the canvas
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 3 / H: 5 / Opacity: 55 / Blur: 8.91 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open ele4 and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Grass 1
Position on the left end of the Fence
Add the same drop shadow
Duplicate and rename the copy – Grass 2
Move over the right end of the fence, but move it up slightly

Back to ele4 and Edit, Undo
Resize to 50%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Grass 3
Position slightly overlapping Grass 1 on the left
Press Shift +G to open the Gamma Correction Tool
Set all 3 values to 1.4

Add the same drop shadow

Back to ele4 and Edit, Undo again
Resize to 55%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Grass 4
Position next Grass 2 on the right

Press Shift +G to open the Gamma Correction Tool
Set all 3 values to 1.2

Add the same drop shadow

Open ele7 and resize to 45%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Leaves 1
Duplicate and hide the copy for now
Activate Leaves 1
Position on the bottom left, covering the bottom of the Grass layers
Add the same drop shadow

Open ele8 and resize to 15%
Copy and paste a a new layer – rename Flower 1
Duplicate and hide the copy for now
Activate Flower 1
Position in the middle of Leaves 1 and add the same drop shadow

Unhide and Activate Copy of Leaves 1 – rename Leaves 2
Image, Mirror, the Image, Flip
Position along the top part of the fence

Add the same drop shadow
The move this layer below the Grass layers on the layer palette

Unhide and Activate Copy of Flower 1 – rename Flower 2
Image, Mirror, the Image, Flip
Position on the leaves and move below the grass layers
Add the same drop shadow

Activate Flower 1, which should be your top layer
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I resized to 45%, all layers Unchecked
Position your tube along the bottom edge where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow

Open ele17 and resize to 75%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Apples
Position along the bottom of the tube
Add the same drop shadow

Open wordart and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Wordart
Image, Free Rotate, Left by 15 degrees
Position where it looks best
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel

Add the same drop shadow

Activate the white background
Open a paper of choice – I used paper4
Resize to 650 pixels
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for WSL_Mask4 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Resize to 75%, all layers unchecked
Erase any mask you can see below your tube
Duplicate and on the copy, change the blend mode to Multiply and reduce the opacity to 70

Delete the white background layer
Activate the top layer
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible to a New Layer
Effects, Plugins, Xero – Porcelain
Use the default settings

Repeat the porcelain again with the same settings
Change the blend mode to Screen and reduce the opacity to 65

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Hippie Unicorn
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Use the same settings as before, changing the glow color if required
Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel
Use the same settings as before
Add the same drop shadow

Add your artists copyright, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done
