F*ck You

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Fonts of Choice – I used FFF Games and Biosi
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
DamitImHere Template by Tonya

I used the awesome artwork of Anna Marine
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Anna’s work without purchasing a license first.

Note: We will be using the Manual Color Correction tool (MCC tool) throughout this tutorial, you can find a mini tut on using this tool {here}

Let’s Start
Open the DamitImHere template, press shift + D to duplicate and close the original
Resize to 550 pixels high, all layers checked
Then increase the canvas size to 600 x 600, central placement selected
Delete the following layers: Credits, Wordart by Tonya and More Wordart by Tonya

Activate Rectangle
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Position where it looks best
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 66 / Blur: 9.90 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Activate Rectangle background
Using the MCC tool recolor to a color of choice from your tube
Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise
Gaussian & Monochrome: Checked / Noise: 65%
Selections, All, Float, Defloat
Carefully erase the parts of the tube you don’t want

Selections, None

With your Tube the active layer, duplicate it
On the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 6
Change the blend mode to Overlay

Activate the Rectangle
Using the MCC tool, recolor to a complimentary color from your tube
Effects, Texture Effects, Blinds

Activate Inner Rectangles
Using your Selection Tool with these settings:
Selection type: Rectangle / Mode: Add (Shift) / Feather: 0 / Anti-Alias: Checked
Select one side of the Inner Rectangle that you want BEHIND your tube
Selections, Promote Selection to Layer – rename the Promoted Selection – Lower Inner Rectangle
On the original layer, press delete
Move Lower Inner Rectangle below your tube layers
Repeat for the Thin Stripey things

With Lower Thin Stripey things the active layer
Recolor to a complimentary color using the MCC tool
Repeat on Thin Stripey things
Add the same Noise as used on the Rectangle Background

Activate Lower Inner Rectangle
Recolor to a complimentary color using the MCC tool
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 44 / Blur: 4.95 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Repeat on Inner Rectangle

Activate Left Circle
Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Recolor using your MCC tool

Activate Left Circle Background
Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Recolor using your MCC tool
Selections, All, Float, Defloat
Selections, Modify, Contract by 5 pixels
Selections, Modify, Feather by 5 pixels
Selections, Invert
Press Shift +G to open your Gamma Correction
Set all 3 values to 0.70
Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise
Use the same settings as before

Activate Weirdo Brush layer
Recolor using your MCC tool
Duplicate and on the copy – change the blend mode to Multiply

Activate Dotted Rectangle
Recolor using your MCC tool
Activate Back Rectangle
Recolor using your MCC tool
Actiate Smaller Background Rectangles
Recolor using your MCC tool

Activate Inner Rectangles
Select your text tool and choose a pixel font – I used FFF Games
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector: Checked / Anti-Alias: OFF
Type out your text of choice, I wrote ‘F*CK YOU’
Type it out a few times
Image, Free Rotate, 90 degrees to the left
Position to the left of the Thin Strey things and convert to raster
Add the text again and postion at the base of Back Rectangle, below the dotted line
Convert to raster

Activate the top layer
Select your text tool again and choose another font – I used Biosi
Keep your settings the same, changing the background color if needed
Also remember to turn Anti-Alias ON
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add the same drop shadow as used before

Add your artists copyrights and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Delete the background layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done
