Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Melonade and November Medium
MuRa’s Meister – Copies
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
TBT Mask 1 by Tonya

I used the awesome artwork of Margaret Morales
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Margaret’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 500 x 500 and flood fill with white
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Main Tube
Resize if needed, so it’s a little smaller than your canvas
I resized to 65%, all layers unchecked

Select your preset shape tool with these settings
Shape: Heart / Anti-Alias & Create as Vector: Checked / Line style: Solid / Width: 10.00
Set your foreground to a color of choice from your tube, background set to null
Draw a Heart (or whatever shape you picked)
You want it larger than the face but not covering the whole tube
I also angled mine a little using the nodes

When happy with the size and position of your shape, Convert to raster
Rename Shape 1
Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise
Gaussian & Monochrome: Checked / Noise: 20%
Duplicate and rename the copy Shape 2
Move Shape 1 below the Main Tube layer

Activate the Main Tube again
Duplicate your tube and move to fill some of gap
Keep duplicating and moving until the shape is fully filled in
Ensure Main Tube is at the top (under Shape 2 on the layer palette)

Add a drop shadow of choice to each tube layer – I used:
V: 2 / H: 7 / Opacity:37 / Blur: 8.91 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Hide the 2 shape, Main Tube Shape 1 and white background layers
Layers, Merge, Merge Visable the remaining tube layers
Rename Tube Fill

Layers, View, View All
Activate Shape 2 and grab your Magic Wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Click outside the shape
Selections, Modify, Expand by 3 pixels
Activate Tube Fill and press delete
Selections, None

Activate Shape 2
Erase any of the shape that is covering the top of your tube
Now erase any Main Tube that is outside the shape at the bottom
I selected the area to be deleted

Delete the white background layer
Crop away all excess canvas
Increase the canvas size to 650 x 650 pixels, central placement selected
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible to a New Layer – rename Back
If you don’t have this option – Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Edit, Paste as a new layer – rename Back
Duplicate and rename the copy Top

Activate Back – Layers, Arrange, Send to Bottom
Image, Resize 105%, all layers unchecked
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 6
Activate Top layer, apply the same Gaussian Blur with the same radius
Change the blend mode to Overlay and reduce the opacity to 61

Select your text tool and choose a nice scripty font – I used Melonade

Choose another font, I used November Medium
Keep your settings the same, changing the background color if required
Type out your text, I wrote ‘where flowers’
