Timeless Visions

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Laswinter
Xero – Porcelain
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
IB Sheena Pike 4-1 by Chaos Priestess

I used the awesome artwork of Martin Abel
You can purchase his work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Martin’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 450 x 450 and flood fill with grey #929292
Open Frame2 and resize to 400 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame
Grab your Magic Wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Select inside the Frame
Selections, Modify, Expand by 3 pixels
Add a new raster layer and name it Inner Clock
Open Frame3, copy and paste into the selection
Move this layer below the Frame layer
Keep Selected
Add another new raster layer – name it Frame Fill
Open a paper of choice – I used Paper5
Copy and paste into the selection
Move Frame Fill below Inner Clock layer
Keep Selected

Open El10, copy and paste as a new layer
Position part within the selected area
Selections, Invert and press delete
Selections, None
Rename Frame Back and change the blend mode to Overlay or a blend of choice

Activate the Frame – which should be your top layer
Open El01 and resize to 400 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Roses
Position along the base of the Frame
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 4 / H: -4 / Opacity: 44 / Blur: 5.94 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Activate the Frame again
Open El16 and resize to 400 pixels high
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Cluster
Position where it looks best on one side of the Frame
Add the same drop shadow
Erase any you can see below the Roses layer

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Position where it looks best and resize if needed
I left mine at 100%
Move below the Cluster if required
Duplicate and on the original – Effects, Plugins, Xero – Porcelain
Use the default settings
Adjust, Hue & Saturation, Colorize

Still on the original add the same drop shadow as used on the Roses BUT change the V to -7 (minus 7)
On the Copy of Tube – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 5
Change the blend mode to Overlay or blend mode of choice

Activate the Roses layer
Open El04
Grab your Freehand Selection tool with these settings:
Selection type: Point to point / Mode: Add (shift) / Feather & Smoothing: 0 / Anti-Alias: Checked
Draw a selection round one of the smaller flowers

Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Black Flower 1
Position on the right side of the roses, covering part of the chain on the roses
Add the same drop shadow as used on the Roses layer

Open El19 and resize to 300 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Leaves
Move below Black Flower
Position so only part is visible to the right side of the Black Flower
Add the same drop shadow
Erase any excess from the left side of the Black Flower
I selected the area to be deleted

Activate Roses
Erase any chain you can see on the right
Again I selected the area to be deleted

With the Roses still the active layer
Open El07 and resize to 35%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename White Flower
Position over chain on the left side
Add the same drop shadow

Open El04
Select another flower using your Freehand Selection tool with the same settings

Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Black Flower 2
Position overlapping the white flower and covering the chain still
Add the same drop shadow
Activate Roses, erase any chain you can see to the left
I selected the area to be deleted

Open El04 again, select two flowers with your Selection Tool

Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Black Flower 3
Image, Mirror, then Image, Flip
Position on the right side
Move down below Tube layer
Add the same drop shadow

Activate the Grey background layer
Open El20 and resize to 400 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename BG
Duplicate and on the original
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 6

Activate the top layer
Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Laswinter
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, Convert to raster
Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel

Duplicate and on the original – Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise
Uniform & Monochrome: Checked / Noise: 20%

Duplicate this layer
Working on the original – Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 2
On the middle copy (with the noise) add the same drop shadow

Add your artist copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Activate and delete the Grey Background layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done
