Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Fonts of Choice – I used Haston and Catherine
Xero – Porcelain & Radiance
MuRa’s Meister – Copies
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Texture 1 & 2 (2019) by Vix
Vix-MaskHalloween2012-10NotHallow by Vix

I used the awesome artwork of Steve Baier
You can purchase her work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Steve’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 550 x 550 and flood fill with white
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
You want the eyes of the tube towards the center of the canvas

Select your Preset Shape tool with these settings:
Shape: Rectangle / Anti-Alias & Create as Vector: Checked / Line style: Solid / Width: 5.00
Set your foreground to black and your background to null
Draw a thin rectangle around the eyes

When happy with the size and placement, convert to raster
Duplicate and working on the copy
Effects, Image Effects, Offset
Play about with the settings until your like the position of the second rectangle
These are the settings I used

This is how my two rectangles look now

With the copy still the active layer
Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Rename Frame

Activate your Tube and duplicate
On the original – Effects, Plugins, Xero – Porcelain

Effects, Plugins, Xero – Radiance

Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 2 / H: -12 / Opacity: 40 / Blur: 7.92 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Activate Copy of Tube
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 6
Change the blend mode to Hard Light and reduce the opacity to 42

Select your Magic Wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Activate the Frame and select outside it
Selections, Modify, Expand by 2 pixels
Press delete on both Tube and Copy of Tube layers
Selections, None

Hide the white background layer
Crop away ALL excess canvas
Image, Increase Canvas Size to 550 x 550, central placement selected

Unhide the white background and re-flood fill with white
Copy and paste your tube again as a new layer – rename BG
Effects, Plugins, MuRa’s Meister – Copies
Choose the Wall Paper (Rotate) at default settings
Adjust, Blur, Motion Blur

Effects, Edge Effects, Enhance More

Duplicate this layer and rename the copy Frame BG
Activate the Frame and grab your Magic Wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Select outside the Frame
Selections, Modify, Expand by 2 pixels
Activate Frame BG and press delete
Keep Selected
Selections, Invert
Activate the white background layer
Selections, Promote Selection to Layer
Selections, None
Rename the Promoted Selection Frame White BG

Position Frame BG directly below Tube on your layer palette
Position Frame White BG directly below Frame BG on your layer palette
Hide the BG layer for now

Activate the Frame layer – which should be your top layer
Select your Pen tool with these settings:
Mode: Draw lines & polylines / Create on Vector: Checked / Line style: Small Dash (or one of choice) / Width: 3.00
Set your foreground to black, background set to null
Holding your Shift key, draw a straight line the same width as the frame, in between the 2 frames

Duplicate and on the copy – Effects, Image Effects, Offset
I used the same settings as before, but you may want to adjust depending on where you want your line
When happy, Duplicate the copy and Image, Flip
Reposition if needed
Reduce the opacity of the line below the Frame to 53
Reduce the opacity of the line above the Frame to 46
Reduce the opacity of the line in the middle of the Frame to 38
Hide all layers except the 3 lines layer
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible – rename Lines
Layers, View, All now hide BG again

Activate Tube
Open a texture of choice – I used Vix_2019_Texture1
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Texture
Position where it looks best within the Frame
Activate White Frame BG
Selections, All, Float, Defloat, Invert
Back to your Texture layer and press delete
Selections, None
Change the blend mode on the Texture layer to Soft Light

Activate BG
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for Vix-MaskHalloween2012-10NotHallow or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to canvas and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group – rename Mask 1
Resize to 85%, all layers unchecked
Duplicate and rename the copy Mask 2
Change the blend mode to Multiply and reduce the opacity to 77

Open another texture of choice – I used Vix-2019-Texture2
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask 3
Apply the same mask with the same settings
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Resize to 85%, all layers unchecked
Change the blend mode to Luminance (legacy)

Add a new raster layer – name it Mask 4
Flood fill with a complimentary color
Apply the same mask BUT check the Invert box
Other settings the same
Layers, Merge, Merge Group and resize by 85%, all layers unchecked
Activate Mask 3
Grab your Magic Wand (same settings as before) and click outside the mask
Selections, Modify, Feather by 50 pixels
Activate Mask 4 and erase all the sold color from the outer edge
You want only want the checks in the middle
When happy, Selections, None
Change the blend mode to Multiply and reduce the opacity to 53
Duplicate Mask and rename Mask 5
Move Mask 5 above Tube and below Texture 1 on your layer palette
Change the blend mode to Screen, leave the opacity at 53

Activate the Frame
Add the same drop shadow as used on the Tube BUT change the H to 4 (+4)

Activate the top layer on your layer palette
Select your text tool and select a bold style font – I used Haston
Set your foreground to null, set your background to a color/gradient/pattern of choice
I used Vix-2019-Texture1 (Angle: 0 / Scale: 50)
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your text of choice – I wrote ‘TOXIC · TOXIC · TOXIC’
Position where it looks best along the top of the Frame/Lines
Duplicate and Image, Flip – Layers, Merge, Merge Down – rename Text
Change the blend mode to Multiply

Activate Mask 5
Select outside with your Magic Wand (same settings as before)
Selections, Modify, Feather by 50 pixels
Activate the Text layer and press delete until you are happy with the look
Selections, None

Select your text tool again and choose a font – I used Catherine
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 57 / Blur: 3.96 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: unchecked

Add your artists copyrights and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Delete the white background layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done
