Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube and Close Up of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Horroween
MuRa’s Meister – Cloud
Xero – Porcelain & Radiance
HallowMasks2012-Set1 & HallowMasks2012-Set2 by Vix

I used the awesome artwork of Keith Garvey
You can purchase his work and a license from CDO
Please do not use Keith’s work without purchasing a license first.

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 450 x 450 and flood fill with white
Set your foreground to Grey (#929292) and your background to black
Add a new raster layer and name it Mask 1
Effects, Plugins, MuRa’s Meister – Cloud

Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for Vix-MaskHalloween2012-3 or mask of choice
Souce luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group

Copy and paste your close up tube as a new layer – rename Masked Tube
Lower the opacity so you can see and position the tube with the face on the left side of the mask

When happy, put the opacity back to 100
Duplicate – rename the copy Masked Tube 2
Hide the Masked Tube layer for now

Activate Masked Tube 2
Effects, Plugins, Xero – Porcelain

Effects, Plugins, Xero – Radiance

Apply the same mask as previously used with the same settings
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Change the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy)
Duplicate and on the copy, change the blend mode to Overlay
Reduce the opacity to 46

Activate and unhide Masked Tube
Move below the Mask layer
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for Vix_MaskHalloween2012-08NotHallow or mask of choice
Souce luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Change the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy)
Reduce the opacity to 65

Activate the white background layer
Add a new raster layer and flood fill with Grey (#929292)
Rename Base Mask
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for Vix_MaskHalloween2012-4 or mask of choice
Souce luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Resize by 90%, all layers unchecked
Duplicate and on the copy, change the blend mode to Multiply

Activate your top layer
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I resized to 65%, all layers unchecked
Position where it looks best, I mirrored my tube so it sat better (Image, Mirror)
Duplicate your tube and on the copy – apply the same Xero – Porcelain as used before
Apply the same Xero – Radiance as before
Change the blend mode to Soft Light
On the original tube layer – add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V: 2 / H: 6 / Opacity: 45 / Blur: 5.94 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Horroween
Set your foreground to black, background set to null
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Stroke width set to 2
Add your name and position where it looks best
Do Not Convert To Raster
Duplicate twice for a total of 3 layers
On the top copy – Convert to raster and rename Outline
On the middle layer, click the + sign on the layer palette
Right click on the indented layer and Select Properties
Turn off the foreground and set the background to a mid grey #414141
Convert to raster and name Fill 2
On the bottom layer, click the + sign on the layer palette
Right click on the indented layer and Select Properties
Turn off the foreground and set the background to a light grey #919191
Convert to raster and name Fill 1

Activate Fill 2
Effects, Edge Effects, Offset

Activate Fill 1
Effects, Edge Effects, Offset

Activate Outline and a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 45 / Blur: 5.94 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Add your artists copyrights and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Delete the white background
Save as a jpg/png
All Done
