My Garden Timeline

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Harelia
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
RD_MaskSet151_Mask3 and RD_MaskSet166_Mask3 by Rachel
IB-CuddlyRigorMortis-Nov2019-BT kit by Karmalized Scraps

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 851 x 315 and flood fill with grey #AAAAAA
Open Element (23)
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Grass (Middle)
Duplicate and resize the copy by 85%, all layers unchecked
Move to the right, still overlapping the Grass (Middle) layer
Rename this layer Grass (Right)
Duplicate and Image, Mirror
Rename Grass (Left)
Add a drop shadow of choice, to all 3 Grass layers – I used
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 54 / Blur: 5.94 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Activate Grass (Middle)
Open Element (17), Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Wheel
Position on the far right of the canvas, so only part of the wheel is visible
Add the same drop shadow as used on the Grass layers

Open Element (20), Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Tree
Position on the far left of the canvas, again so only part is visible
Also ensure only the greenery shows on the canvas
Add the same drop shadow

Activate Grass (Left) which should be the top layer
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Position slightly to the right of center
Resize if needed, I resized to 75%, all layers unchecked
Add the same drop shadow BUT change the H to 5

Open Element (12), Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Leaves
Position on the far left so only some of the leaves are visible
Add the same drop shadow, changing the H back to 2

Open Element (18), Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flowers
Position along the base of the wheel, slightly overlapping the base of your tube
Add the same drop shadow

Open Element (5), Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Greenery
Position so just the green is showing on the bottom left side of the canvas
Duplicate and rename the copy – Greenery 2
On the original, add the same drop shadow

Activate Greenery 2 and duplicate, rename the copy Greenery 3
Activate Greenery 3 and resize to 70%, all layers unchecked
Position on the right side so it’s higher than the Flowers
Move below the Flowers layer on your later palette
Add the same drop shadow

Activate Greenery 2 and resize to 65%, all layers unchecked
Position in the middle, covering the base of your tube and slightly overlapping Greenery
You only want the green part showing on the canvas
Add the same drop shadow

Activate the grey background layer
Open a paper of choice and copy and paste as a new layer – I used Paper (6)
Rename BG 1
Move so it fills the background you can see
Open another paper of choice, copy and paste as a new layer – I used Paper ()
Rename BG 2
Position over BG 1, change the blend mode to Hard Light and reduce the opacity to 73

Activate the top layer
Crop the canvas to 851 x 315
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible to a New Layer
If you do not have this options – Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged, the Paste as a new layer
Rename Mask 1
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 10
Adjust, Hue & Saturation – Colorize
H: 147 / S: 0
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for RD_MaskSet151_Mask3 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to canvas, Hide all mask and Invert: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Change the blend mode to Screen and reduce the opacity to 65

Crop the canvas to 851 x 315
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible to a New Layer
If you do not have this options – Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged, the Paste as a new layer
Rename Mask 2
Adjust, Hue & Saturation – Colorize
H: 147 / S: 0
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for RD_MaskSet166_Mask3 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to canvas and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Change the blend mode to Overlay

Add a new raster layer and flood fill with Black
Selections, All, Modify, Contract by 1 pixel
Press delete, Selections, None
Rename Frame

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Harelia
Set your foreground to null, background set to a color choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Apply the same drop shadow

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Save as a jpg/png
All Done
