Time After Time

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Anchor and Black Cherry
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
TBT_Mask12 by Tonya
Elena Dudina Tube/Scrap Bundle pkg17 by Curious Creative Dreams

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 550 x 550 and flood fill with Grey #929292
Open F2 and resize to 350 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame 1
Back to F2 and Edit, Undo then resize to 375 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame 2
Move below Frame 1
Adjust, Blur, Radial Blur

Activate Frame 2
Grab your Magic Wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Select inside – Selections, Modify, Feather by 50 pixels
Add a new raster layer – rename Frame BG
Copy and paste a paper of choice into the selection – I used Paper 2
Selections, None
Move Frame BG below the Frame 2 layer

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I left mine at 100%
Position where it looks best within the Frame
Duplicate and on the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 10
Change the blend mode to Overlay
On the original, change the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy)
Activate Frame BG – Selections, All, Float, Defloat, Invert
Press delete on BOTH Tube layers
Selections, None
On the original Tube layer add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 2 / Opacity: 41 / Blur: 6.93 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Open Element (21)
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Back Flowers
Position behind the Tube layers

Change the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy)
Duplicate and on the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 5
Change the blend mode to Overlay
Activate the original Tube layer – Selections, All, Float, Defloat
Press delete on both Back Flowers and Copy of Back Flowers layers
Selections, None
Erase any that is outside the Frame
I selected the areas to be deleted on the screen shot

Activate the Copy of Tube
Open Element (46), copy and paste as a new layer – rename Feather
Activate Frame BG – Selections, All, Float, Defloat, Invert
Press delete on the Feather layer
Selections, None

Activate the Feather
Open Element (20) and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Flowers
Position over the Feather where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow as used on the Tube
Change the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy)
Activate Frame BG – Selections, All, Float, Defloat, Invert
Press delete on the Flowers layer
Selections, None

Activate Frame 1 and duplicate
On the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 5
Lower the opacity to about 73
On the original, add the same drop shadow

Open Element (38)
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Time
Position down the right side of the Frames
Add the same drop shadow

Delete the Grey background layer
Crop away all excess canvas
Now increase the canvas size by 50 pixels on each side

Add a new raster layer – name it Mask
Layers, Arrange, Send to Bottom
Selections, All
Copy and paste a paper of choice into the selection – I used Paper 2
Selections, None
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for TBT_Mask12 or Mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Image, Mirror
Duplicate and on the copy – change the blend mode to Overlay and reduce the opacity to 63
Duplicate again – Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top
Change the blend mode to Soft Light, leave the opacity at 63

Select your text tool and choose a bold font – I used Anchor
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your text of choice, I wrote ‘TIME AFTER TIME’
Position where it looks best and convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add the same drop shadow
Reduce the opacity to 70

Keep your text tool active and choose another font – I used Black Cherry
Keep your settings the same, changing the background color if required
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Add the same Gradient Glow, changing the color if required
Add the same drop shadow

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 🙂
