Quiet Moments

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Magnolia Sky
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
RR_MaskSet54_Mask3 by Rachel
Quiet Moment by Gimptastic Scraps

I used the awesome artwork of Elena Dudina

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 550 x 550 and flood fill with Grey #AAAAAA
Open Frame2 and resize to 50%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame
Grab your Magic Wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Select inside the Frame
Selections, Modify, Expand by 5 pixels
Add a new raster layer – rename Frame Back
Copy and paste a paper of choice into the selection – I used Paper6
Selections, None
Move the Frame Back below the Frame layer

Activate the Grey background layer
Open ele12 and resize to 75%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Blur
Adjust, Blur, Radial Blur

Open ele22, Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Back Flower
Position to the top left of the Blur, so you can just see part of it

Add a drop shadow of choice – I used
V: 2 / H: 4 / Opacity: 41 / Blur: 6.93 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Activate the Frame layer
Open ele4 and resize to 65%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Leaves
Position on the left side of the Frame
Add the same drop shadow as used on Back Flower

Open ele32 and resize to 75%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Leaves 2
Position round the base of the Frame
Add the same drop shadow

Open ele28 and resize to 35%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Heart
Position where it looks best
Add the same drop shadow

Open ele8 and resize to 35%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Rose
Position where it looks best and add the same drop shadow

Activate the Frame layer
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize if needed, I resized to 50%, all layers unchecked
Position where it looks best
Duplicate and on the copy – Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur – radius set to 8
Change the blend mode to Soft Light
On the original – Add the same drop shadow

Using your selection tool with these settings:
Selection type: Rectangle / Mode: Add (Shift) / Feather: 0 / Anti-Alias: Checked
Select the bottom part of the tube

Activate the Frame layer
Selections, Promote Selection to layer
Selections, None
Move the Promoted Selection above Copy of Tube
Now erase any tube you can see below the Frame
I selected the area to be deleted

Activate the Grey background layer
Open a paper of choice and resize to 550 pixels, I used Paper1
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Mask
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disk
Look for RR_MaskSet54_Mask3 or mask of choice
Source luminance, Fit to layer and Hide all mask: Checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Resize to 95%, all layers unchecked
I also Mirrored my mask layer but this is optional

Activate the top layer
Add any other elements you want, I added a bird from the tube
When happy, delete the Grey background
Crop away any excess canvas
Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Magnolia Sky
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, Convert to raster
Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add the same drop shadow

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Save as a jpg/png
All Done 🙂
