Life Is Beautiful

Supplies needed:
PSP – I used X9 but any version will do
Animation Shop
Tube of Choice
Font of Choice – I used Butterflies Script Lovely
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow
Animation of Choice – I used Ani1667 from pkg554 by Rebel Designz

I used the awesome artwork of Sybile Art

Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 550 x 550 and flood fill with white
Open Frames (1) and resize to 400 pixels wide
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame
Grab your Magic Wand with these settings:
Mode: Add (shift) / Match Mode: RGB Value / Tolerance & Feather: 0 / Contiguous & Anti-Alias: Checked
Select outside the Frame, then select inside the Frame
Selections, Modify, Expand by 5 pixels
Selections, Promote Selection to Layer – rename Frame Edge
Selections, None

Activate your white background
Copy and paste your Image as a new layer – rename Image
Position where it looks best within your Frame

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Tube
Resize so its the same size as your image – all layers unchecked
I resized mine to 317 pixels high
Line the tube up with the image
Move above both the Frame layers
Add a drop shadow of choice – I used:
V&H: 3 / Opacity: 30 / Blur: 6.93 / Color: Black / Shadow on new layer: Unchecked

Activate Frame Edge
Select outside with your Magic Wand (same settings as before)
Selections, Modify, Expand by 5 pixels
Activate your Image layer and press delete
Selections, None

Activate Tube and erase any parts that are outside the frame that you don’t want

Open Elements (14) and resize to 90%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame Flowers
Move below the Tube layer
Add the same drop shadow

Activate the white background
Open Elements (3) and resize to 50%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame 2
Effects, Plugins, MuRa’s Meister – Copies

Add the same drop shadow

Activate the white background again
Open Elements (15) and resize to 50%
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Frame 3
Effects, Plugins, MuRa’s Meister – Copies
Use the same settings BUT change the number to 12
Add the same drop shadow

Activate your Tube layer
Open the Wordart (2)
Grab your selection tool with these settings:
Selection type: Rectangle / Mode: Add (Shift) / Feather: 0 / Anti-Alias: Checked
Select ‘Life is beautiful…’

Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Wordart 1
Position where it looks best
Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel

Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient Glow

Add the same drop shadow

Back to the original Wordart (2)
Selections, Invert
Copy and paste as a new layer – rename Wordart 2
Position where it looks best
Apply the same Inner Bevel, Gradient Glow and Drop Shadow

Select your text tool and choose a font – I used Butterflies Script Lovely
Set your foreground to null, background to a color of choice
Create as vector and Anti-Alias both checked
Add your name and position where it looks best
When happy, convert to raster
Apply the same Inner Bevel, Gradient Glow and Drop Shadow

Add your artists copyrights, scrap credits and your own taggers watermark as a new layer
Hide the white background layer
Crop away any excess canvas
Save as a jpg/png

To Animate
Unhide the white background
Activate Frame – Selections, All, Float, Defloat
Selections, Modify, Contract by 3 pixels
Activate Frame 2 and press delete
Activate Frame 1 and press delete
Selections, None

Activate the Frame again
Select inside with your Magic Wand (same settings as before)
Selections, Modify, Expand by 3 pixels
Activate the white background and press delete
Activate Image
Selections, Invert and press delete
Selections, None

Activate Frame (again!)
Layers, View, Current Only
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Open Animation Shop (AS)
Edit, Paste as a new animation

Staying in AS
Open your animation of choice – I used Ani1667
Duplicate your Frame image so it has the same number of frames as the animation
On the Animation – Edit, Select All, Copy
On the Frame – Edit, Select All, Paste into Selected Frame
Position in the middle of the frame

Back to PSP
Layers, View, All
Hide the Frame layer
Edit, Copy Special, Copy Merged
Over to AS
Edit, Paste as a new animation
Duplicate so it has the same number of frames as the animated frame
Edit, Select All, Copy
On the Frame – Edit, Select All, Paste into Selected Frame
Line it up right
Save as a gif file
All Done 🙂
